Ambergrace Arguelles

Music

Mrs. Arguelles is the music teacher at Holy Spirit School. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a major in liberal studies, and a minor in music. She has also trained in Orff Schulwerk, a creative, hands-on approach to music learning. Mrs. Arguelles is very busy in her spiritual life, participating in youth and young adult ministry and youth choir at Holy Spirit, leading retreats and music ministry, as well as performing various music jobs for weddings, funerals, anniversaries, and other life events.

Her love of music and playing at Mass, and her passion for sharing that joy with children, brought Mrs. Arguelles to teaching. She carries the value of grace, community, and joy with her daily and brings them with her to her music classes, learning through play and working together as a team with her students. She loves teaching the Catholic faith through music and liturgy, and seeing her students come together to learn something challenging. One of her most fulfilling memories is taking our Holy Spirit music students to Disneyland and receiving Gold awards and Superior ratings for their work! She is also very proud of starting the youth ministry program here at Holy Spirit Parish with her husband.

In her free time, Mrs. Arguelles enjoys going to concerts and musicals, spending time with her family, which includes two young sons, and anything Disney! Sushi, Asian food, and Chick-fil-A rank among her favorite foods, and she loves dessert (especially ice cream!).
