At Holy Spirit School, your child will receive three special Sacraments. In second grade, your child will prepare for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion*. The Sacrament of First Reconciliation is received during an intimate prayer service on a special evening during Lent. First Holy Communion is celebrated with a private Mass including classmates, family, and friends on a Saturday after Easter. Children are prepared for both Sacraments with lessons during class time and retreats.  In seventh grade, your child will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the spring. The Mass is celebrated with the Bishop and our entire church community. Preparation includes service hours, interviews, retreats, and lessons during class time. Families are involved in all three Sacraments through retreats, weekly Mass attendance, and spiritual guidance.

*Child must be Baptized in the Catholic church by the age of 7 to receive these Sacraments with their class.
