At Holy Spirit, music is more than just a class, it’s a community builder. Under the direction of Mrs. Arguelles, students experience music once a week in each grade, with every lesson designed to strengthen not only musical skills but also our shared spirit of worship and connection.

Drawing from the Orff Schulwerk and Kodály methods, students explore music through singing, movement, rhythm, and play. Whether through joyful games, ensemble activities, or creative expression, music class is a place where students learn to collaborate, listen, and grow together.

The central focus of our program is preparing music for liturgy, helping students understand how music deepens our faith and brings our community closer during worship. By singing together, learning sacred music, and discovering the beauty of liturgical traditions, students build confidence, faith, and a lasting love for music that extends well beyond the classroom.
