Jessica Thompson
4th Grade Teacher
Jessica Thompson is Holy Spirit School's 4th Grade teacher. Mrs. Thompson was born and raised in the Bay Area (Santa Rosa) and received her BA from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She completed her teaching credential at Touro University and has been teaching for 15 years. Mrs. Thompson has taught a variety of grades but has always wanted to teach 4th Grade - as a 5th generation Californian, she finds the state's history very interesting and it is an important part of the 4th Grade curriculum. She loves the fact that the class gets to learn about the earlier days of California, and that there are also some fantastic field trips the class goes on to learn more about California (Sutter’s Fort, the State Capital, and more). She is happy to teach at Holy Spirit to celebrate her faith and share it with her students. One of Mrs. Thompson's favorite saints is St. Anthony, who is the patron saint of many things included misplaced items. As a young child she always prayed to him and it always seemed to work!
Her family includes her husband and her cat, Cooper. She has two young adult children who both attended school in the Sacramento Diocese.
