Katie Halls

Kindergarten Teacher

Ms. Halls is the Kindergarten teacher (and Theatre Club coordinator) at Holy Spirit School! She earned her B.A. in Theatre and English from UC Davis. Before arriving at Holy Spirit, she taught theatre and English to teens in France and Belgium. Ms. Halls was inspired to teach because of her mom, who was a teacher—she always enjoyed the stories her mom told and the way she had so much fun with the kids!

Ms. Halls believes learning should be fun! Coming from a theatre background, she learned a lot through gameplay and group connection exercises, and she brings those strategies to her classroom. She thinks that teaching is all about creating meaningful relationships with her students and having as much fun as possible learning about the world we share!

Outside the classroom, Ms. Hall loves theatre, singing, dancing, crochet, biking, hiking, and traveling. She favors the color blue, and she loves popcorn – one of her favorite things is to go to the movie theatre to enjoy her favorite snack!
